Storth Open Gardens
This event rested in 2021 and we don't have any up to date event details. When we get updated information, we'll add it here, but in the meantime we include below event information from a previous year to remind you about the event.
Storth, near Milnthorpe, Cumbria
Sunday 26th and Bank Holiday Monday 27th August 2018
1.00pm to 5.00pm
The gardens are spread throughout the village, with varying sizes from compact to very large. Many of the gardens have stunning views of the estuary enhanced by the local limestone geology. Some include vegetable plots, others fruit trees; one even includes a model railway.
Refreshments will be available at the village church where there will also be local produce stalls. Some garden owners will be offering their own fruit for sale.
All proceeds in the form of donations in aid of St. John's Hospice, Lancaster.
Plant sales: Locally grown plants will be for sale.
Cost: By donation.
