Whittington Open Gardens

Whittington, near Lichfield, Staffordshire
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2025
11.00am to 4.00pm

Whittington is a pretty, historic village on the Coventry Canal, two miles east of Lichfield.

We have a fabulous variety of gardens with a particular emphasis on being wildlife-friendly in many. There is a community orchard, and spectacular meadows.

Our two village pubs will be open for facilities, refreshments and excellent food plus a new coffee shop. One or two garden owners are also hoping to provide their usual excellent food and refreshments.

Proceeds:  All proceeds from ticket/programme sales will go to village greening projects and associated events.

Plant sales:  One or two gardeners hope to have plants for sale.

Cost:  £5.00 adults which covers both days, accompanied children free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  On the day from the event car parks (last ticket sales 3.00pm); in advance from the The Coffee House Whittington, Main Street.

Toilet Facilities:  Toilets are available at this event.

Directions / Parking:  The main car park is on Baxter's Farm, Back Lane, just off Church Street. Parking for blue badge holders is available at St. Giles Hospice, Fisherwick Road.
