Nonington Open Gardens

10.00am to 5.00pm

A range of gardens are open to the public. Opening on two days allows the garden owners to do a little espionage around the village.

The gardens are scattered around the village. Nonington is a small but spread-out village, so getting between gardens at opposite ends of the village can take time.

Refreshments available.

Proceeds:  Donations to Martha Trust at Deal – transforming the lives of people with profound physical and multiple learning difficulties.

Plant sales:  Possibly plants for sale at some gardens.

Cost:  Entrance by donation at any garden.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Entry at any participating garden where there will be maps available - look for balloons and notices which denote participating gardens.

Directions / Parking:  Holt Street, Nonington is 5 minutes from the A2, turn off at the Barham slip road. From the Sandwich by-pass, A256, take the Eastry turning towards Chillenden. Drive through the village main street and stop at any garden showing the Open Gardens sign. Car transportation may be necessary between gardens.
