Sorry, but Tockwith Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 12 gardens opened Tockwith, near York, North Yorkshire

10.30am to 4.30pm

A variety of styles and sizes of gardens will be open, all set in a rural village. Features include a Japanese garden, a small planted woodland area, a large bed of unusual alpine plants and an interestingly designed vegetable garden.

Lunches, teas, coffees cakes on sale at our Village Hall; Teas, coffee and cakes served at Tockwith Church. Sorry - no dogs please other than assistance dogs.

All proceeds shared between Tockwith Church, the Sportsfield, the Village Hall and Tockwith Under 5s.

Plant sales:  Commercial Nursery Summerfields - knowedgeable stall holder. Also the local gardeners' own large plant stall.

Cost:  5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get event passports:  Ticket/plan on sale on the day at the two car parks, Tockwith Church and the Village Hall.

Directions:  Tockwith is between York and Wetherby. Signs to it off the B12224 (Wetherby to York Rd) and off the A59 (Harrogate to York Road).
