Fressingfield Open Gardens
This event is resting for 2021
Sorry, but Fressingfield Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
11.00am to 4.00pm
You are welcome to the Fressingfield Open Gardens event. Lots of fantastic, picturesque and varied gardens, set in a small northern Suffolk village, with easy walking and access.
Our gardens range from the smaller typical village gardens, through large and landscaped, right up very large feature gardens, including a 4.5 acre gem with trees, ornamental shrubs and flowers, a croquet lawn and a half acre vegetable garden. One of our gardens is also a vineyard, so you will be able to sample some of their wares and if you are lucky and it has not sold out, buy some of their produce.
The village Primary School will be open, showcasing the gardens and pond created by the children. If you are lucky you may even spot Clarence the llama on your walk between the gardens.
Teas, coffees, soft drinks, cakes and other delicious eats will be served on both days, at the Sancroft Hall, where we will also have other stalls selling various goods.
Proceeds to Fressingfield Family Trust Charity, towards flowers and planting in the village and the Fressingfield Community Gardeners.
Plant sales: There will be plants for sale - all grown by villagers.
Cost: £3.00 adults, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports: Buy tickets on the day from the Sancroft Hall in the middle of the village.
