Potterne Open Gardens

This event is resting for 2022 Sorry, but Potterne Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

Potterne, near Devizes, Wiltshire

11.00am to 4.00pm

Potterne opens some of its gardens for the first time in over 20 years. From small estate gardens to large formal gardens there will be something to interest all.

The historically interesting 'Porch House' will open their garden which features a brick layout showing the foundations of the village's original Saxon church.

St. Mary's church will be showing historic photos from Potterne and will have a model of the Saxon church on display.

There will be a gift stall where you can pick up some new items at bargain prices, and a preserves stall. A Victorian Tea Room will serve refreshments including home made cakes.

All proceeds to St. Mary's church funds.

Plant sales:  Plants grown by villagers will be for sale.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get event passports:  Tickets available on the day on George's field.

Directions:  Follow the signs to the main parking area. Disabled parking on George's field. Parking for outlying gardens will be at or near each property.
