Brightlingsea Open Gardens

Please note This event ran in 2025 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.

Brightlingsea, near Colchester, Essex
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2025
10.00am to 5.00pm

A wide variety of gardens of all shapes and sizes will be open throughout the town and you will get a friendly welcome from everyone. Some will have refreshments for sale and others books, art work, ice cream.

Lunches, home-made cakes and licenced bar available at Springmead Gardens.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to St. Helena Hospice, Colchester.

Plant sales:  Some gardens will have plants for sale.

Cost:  £5.00 per adult, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Entry by programme available from any participating garden or shops in the High Street.

Directions / Parking:  Follow the B1029 into the town. Gardens are marked with a colourful windmill outside, you will pass some as you drive into town. On-street parking near most gardens.
