 approx 9 gardens opened Somerby, west of Oakham, Leicestershire

11.00am to 5.00pm

Come and enjoy our village gardens and ancient horse pond with developing wild flower meadow. Gardens include small courtyards, a terrace of front gardens, a contemporary ‘no lawn’ garden, another showcasing Mediterranean planting as well as larger gardens with wildlife ponds, kitchen gardens and modern herbaceous borders.

Cream teas available at Pickwell village hall - eat in or picnic in the grounds.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to community gardening projects.

Plant sales:  Plants for sale - all grown by villagers.

Cost:  £5.00 adults combined entry, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Buy tickets on the day on Somerby village green opposite the church or at 35 Main Street, Pickwell.
