Covenham Open Gardens

Please note This event ran in 2025 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.

Covenham St. Mary, Louth, Lincolnshire

Covenham is a twin village consisting of Covenham St. Mary and Covenham St. Bartholomew. There are two churches, both of which are of significant historical interest.

There will be gardens of varying sizes, some well established and others more newly developed. One of our gardens is in a different style, developed around the concept of outdoor living.

Refreshments with homemade cakes will be available at St. Mary's Church.

Proceeds:  All proceeds are for St. Mary's Church.

Plant sales:  There will be plants for sale at The Ash.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Maps showing the location of the gardens will be available at St. Mary's Church on the day.

Directions / Parking:  From Louth take A16 towards Grimsby. Approaching the village of Utterby turn right down Ings Lane. Follow the Lane until you reach St. Mary's Church just after the Z bend. From Grimsby take A16, go through Utterby village until you are almost at the end and take the turning for Covenham on the left hand side down Ings Lane. Follow the Lane until you reach St. Mary's Church. There is a Z bend just before the Church. Parking is available opposite the church or up Cold Harbour Lane.
