Great Smeaton and Hornby Open Gardens

 approx 11 gardens opened Great Smeaton, near Northallerton, Yorkshire
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2025
12.00noon to 5.00pm

Gardens large and small will be open in two adjoining villages, a very short drive between them. Some gardens are interesting to visit just for the views whilst others offer delightful herbaceous borders.

One very large one in Great Smeaton has not been open for some years.

Start your tour at Great Smeaton Village Hall, where there will be teas and delicious cakes on sale.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to the local St. Eloy's Church.

Plant sales:  There will be plant for sale - all grown by villagers.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Buy tickets on the day from Great Smeaton Village Hall.
