Sorry, but Castlethorpe Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

approx 20 gardens opened Castlethorpe, near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2025
11.00am to 5.00pm

Castlethorpe is an attractive village in north Buckinghamshire within easy reach of Milton Keynes. It has a conservation area at its centre, several listed buildings and a recently renovated Grade 1 listed medieval church, which will be open to visitors.

As in previous years, a variety of gardens will be on show, ranging in size and purpose, from the well-tended to the completely organic. They include a working blacksmith's forge, several cottage gardens, and the churchyard. All are within walking distance of the Village Hall.

There are two play areas for children to enjoy, and local stallholders will showcase their crafts and wares next to the church.

There will be refreshments and homemade cakes available in the Village Hall. Ice creams and other goodies can be bought at the village shop, and the Pavilion Cafe and Bar near the sports ground will be open for drinks and a BBQ.

Castlethorpe is a dog-friendly village and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
