This event is resting for 2026
Sorry, but Harleston Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

approx 24 gardens opened Harleston, betwixt Diss and Bungay, Norfolk
Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June 2025
11.00am to 4.00pm

Harleston is a small Market Town, nestled in the Waveney Valley in Norfolk, and is proud to invite you to come and visit our unique gardens,– each one a wondering adventure.

We have a beautiful walled garden, old fashioned gardens, and some dedicated to helping wildlife. Included on the Saturday are Harleston Allotments.

St. John's church will be open to visitors on the Saturday, and you can walk around the quiet gardens, also look at the beautiful Butterfly display hanging inside, made by the Primary schoolchildren to support our Harleston and Waveney Nature Recovery scheme.

To take you to the further town gardens and allotments we have a 1950 Bristol L5G Vintage bus. A Timetable will be in the bus shelter in Broad Street.

Additionally this year, we have a large garden in Needham, just over a mile west of Harleston, but too special not to be included. It has a two acre wildflower meadow, with paths cut in, and a large pond, with lots of wildlife.

Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
