Sorry, but Martinstown Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 20 gardens opened Martinstown, near Dorchester, Dorset
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2025
1.00pm to 5.00pm

Martinstown is a pretty streamside village with the South Winterbourne flowing beside the village green.

A range of private gardens will be open of all shapes and sizes and at different stages of development, from newly established to one which has been tended by the same gardener for over 50 years.

Home made teas will be available in the Village Hall on both afternoons. On Sunday there will be a Dog Show from 10.00am in the Village Hall.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to the upkeep of our Village Hall and Children's Playground.

Plant sales:  Plants grown by villagers will be for sale.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Buy on the day from the carpark stewards or at the Village Hall.

Directions / Parking:  Ample parking at the Eastern end of the village: turn right at the T junction. Disabled parking available at the village hall.
