Cricklade Open Gardens

Cricklade, Wiltshire Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July 2025 1.00pm to 5.00pm
Cricklade is the first town on the River Thames and is a Saxon town offering plenty of interest and history. There are information boards around the town explaining various aspects of the area.
Repeating our bi-annual event, we have gardens open for all, from small courtyards to more extensive gardens, each of which will inspire you and enthuse you.
Our parish church St. Sampsons will be open during the weekend.
Teas, coffee and cakes will be available.
Proceeds: Proceeds from this event will go towards Cricklade Open Door, a charity offering friendship, support and companionship to our older generation, and also towards ongoing repairs and restoration of our parish church, St. Sampsons.
Plant sales: Some gardens will have plants for sale during the weekend.
Cost: £7.00 per person, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get tickets / programmes: During the week passports are available from the Town Council Offices otherwise from any of the open gardens on the day. A map of open gardens will be on display in the Town Council Office window.

Directions / Parking: The town has three car parks, one just as you leave the A419, one behind Tesco in the High Street and one at the Town Hall in the High Street. There is parking in local streets but please be aware of the access needed by local residents.
