Cottisford and Juniper Open Gardens

Opening for just the second time, in the historic villages of Cottisford and Juniper Hill at the heart of Flora Thompson’s Larkrise to Candleford story, you will be able to visit the magnificent herbaceous border of the Manor House, a walled garden abundant with perennials, true cottage gardens with magnificent views over open countryside and a newly designed garden (those of you who came last time will see how the plans have come to fruition) - all with lots of ideas for your own garden.

A great opportunity to explore Flora Thompson country in the 150th anniversary year of her birth.

Teas and homemade cakes will be provided in the church.

Proceeds:  All funds go to The Friends of Cottisford Church, Cottisford and Hardwick PCC and the Cottisford and Juniper Social Committee.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

Directions / Parking:  Parking will be available at the playing field in Juniper Hill and in Cottisford. For those wishing to walk between the two hamlets, there is a delightful footpath from Juniper to Cottisford.
