Moggerhanger Open Gardens

approx 11 gardens open Moggerhanger, east of Bedford, Bedfordshire
Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May 2026
12.00noon to 5.00pm

This year, at the request of many of our gardeners, our popular event is being brought forward to the last weekend in May.

You will be able to visit new and diverse gardens as well as see different plants and flowers flourishing in the gardens you already know and love.

All of our gardens are much-loved and all are very different. Again, our friendly gardeners will be on-hand to chat with you if that is what you would like. And this year, for the first time, each will be showcasing different methods and devices they use to garden more sustainably and in harmony with nature.

So, maybe we will inspire you to try something new in your own garden or perhaps you simply want to enjoy an uplifting day out where a warm welcome is guaranteed whatever the weather. We very much look forward to meeting you.

As last year, the weekend will start in our beautiful church with floral displays. You can sit and enjoy teas, coffees, light lunches and an array of delicious homemade cakes from 11.15am and throughout the day.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all gardens; well-trained dogs on leads welcome in most gardens - please see our programme on the day.
