Horsley Woodhouse, Derbyshire Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2025 12.00noon to 4.00pm
Horsley Woodhouse welcomes you to our first Open Gardens event where a range of styles of gardens will be open for you to visit.
St. Susanna’s Church will open with a flower display. Take a moment to stop at our Millennium Wall whilst enjoying the history of the village heritage board, just across the road from the Royal British Legion (RBL) Hall.
Radio Derby’s Potter Plotters will be sharing their gardening experiences with a talk on Saturday and there will be a flower arranging demonstration on both days.
Tea, coffee, and plenty of cakes will be available at the Royal British Legion Hall.
Proceeds: All proceeds will go to the refurbishment of the Horsley Woodhouse Royal British Legion Hall.
Plant sales: There will be plants for sale.
Cost: £5.00 adults, covers both days, accompanied 16s and under free. Your entry fee includes one free drink.
How to get tickets / programmes: Available from the Royal British Legion Hall, Main Street.

Toilet Facilities: Toilets are available at this event.
Directions / Parking: Parking is along Main Street and at the Church Hall and HW Primary School (approximately 500 yards away at the top of Wood Lane). Parking is also available at the Old Oak Inn, Main Street. The RBL Hall is situated in the centre of the village and is slightly set back from the roadside. Look out for the signage.
