 approx 10 gardens opened Sheldwich, south of Faversham, Kent.
Saturday 7th June 2025
10.00am to 6.00pm

Sheldwich gardens are open for the very first time in this glorious setting.

Sheldwich is a typical small English village in a picturesque area of outstanding natural beauty with a village green where cricket has been played for many years.

A wide range of gardens will be open to visitors - from the spectacular garden of the Grade 1 listed Lees Court to an array of very varied and beautiful gardens, each in their own charming surroundings.

All of the gardens are within easy reach with some near the village hall and others accessible via the attractive footpaths and bridleways or by a short drive.

Visit the Grade 2* listed St. James's Church, Sheldwich. The Grade 2* listed St. Leonard's Church along Dayton Road, is also open. Both can be accessed via footpaths or a short drive.

Enjoy a delicious tea and cake in the village hall, and relax in the peaceful surroundings.

Proceeds:  Ticket sales in aid of Sheldwich Village Hall.

Plant sales:  There will be plants for sale in some of the gardens

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Tickets from Sheldwich Village Hall on the day. Cash only please.

Toilet Facilities:  Toilets are available at this event.

Directions / Parking:  From A251, turn into Lees Court Road, Sheldwich. Follow Lees Court Road until you get to the village green. The village hall entrance is on left hand side and will be signposted. Parking is available either in the car park adjacent, or on the green - there will be stewards available for guidance. Limited mobility parking available at Lees Court and both churches.
