Histon and Impington Open Gardens

This event is resting for 2021
Sorry, but Histon and Impington Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

approx 18 gardens opened Histon and Impington, near Cambridge

The delightful neighbouring Cambridgeshire villages of Histon and Impington will be opening their gardens, with 11 gardens new to the event, and including the Village Community Orchard.

These spaces will tempt gardens lovers of every type. There are secluded oases where water bubbles and chickens, cats and even pigs roam free, or grand landscapes with moats, islands and mysterious woods. There are Japanese-themed spaces as well as collections of Mediterranean drought-tolerant plants.

You can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat too as tea, coffee and cake will be on offer in some gardens, while in others you can enjoy the sound of live music by local musicians. There's even a book reading for children.

Proceeds go to Arthur Rank Hospice, Cavendish House School Garden Project, the Opportunity Playgroup and the Histon and Impington Feast.
