Histon and Impington Open Gardens

approx 18 gardens open Histon and Impington, near Cambridge
Sunday 12th June 2022
12.00noon to 6.00pm

The delightful neighbouring Cambridgeshire villages of Histon and Impington will be opening their gardens, with nine gardens which are new to the event.

These spaces will tempt gardens lovers of every type. There are secluded oases where water bubbles, inspiring wildlife havens, grand landscapes and even a moat. There are Japanese-themed spaces, as well as Mediterranean and South African planting. Some gardens are thoroughly modern, while others have fascinating histories and ancient trees.

There will also be plenty to keep the little ones entertained, with a children's trail, a visit from the Cambridge Cats and even a barefoot maze.

You can enjoy tea, coffee and cake in three gardens, while in others you can enjoy the sound of live music by local musicians.

Proceeds go to East Anglia's Children's Hospices, HI Friends, Shepreth Hedgehog Hospital and Histon and Impington Feast.

Plant sales:  Plant sales at the Village Green.

Cost:  6.00 on the day, 5.00 in advance, accompanied under 16s free.
