Newnham, southwest of Faversham, Kent Sunday 22nd June 2025 1.00pm to 6.00pm
Set in the Syndale valley in an area of outstanding natural beauty, some lovely village gardens will be open for you to enjoy including some not open for the event on 8th June.
Open gardens include Sandhurst Farm Forge on Seed Road which will also be hosting craft displays and demonstrations as part of South East Open Studios.
There will be flowers to see in the church.
Afternoon teas will be available. Pimm's, beers and filled rolls will be served all afternoon on the 'village green' where local men's singing group Lowering the Tone will be performing at 2.30pm.
Proceeds: Proceeds to Newnham church funds.
Plant sales: There will be plants for sale.
Cost: £5.00 per person per day; accompanied children free.
How to get tickets / programmes: Buy a passport on the day from any open garden.

Directions / Parking: Newnham is located between the A20 at Lenham and the A2 at Faversham. From the A20 take the turning up the hill opposite the central turning into Lenham, signposted Doddington. Continue for about 5 miles, passing through the village of Doddington, until you enter the village of Newnham. From the A2 heading from Faversham to Sittingbourne take the 1st left after the roundabout, signposted Newnham. Follow this road for about 4 miles until you enter the village of Newnham. There will be parking available on Sharsted playing fields at the east (Faversham) end of the village, otherwise please park on the main street.
