Bellerby Open Gardens

approx 12 gardens open Bellerby, near Leyburn, North Yorkshire
Sunday 5th July 2026
10.30am to 4.30pm

Come and see the very best in gardens, spot the scarecrows and sample Bellerby's legendary refreshments.

Bellerby Open Gardens is a very popular fund raising event for local good causes, with many of the residents having opened their gardens for a number of years. The gardens are spread within easy walking distance throughout this attractive village of becks and bridges.

Many gardens open regularly - large and small, well established and new, showing everyone ideas that they can use themselves. There may also be some ‘bonus’ ones to spot.

There is a flower festival in the church, and two musical performances during the day. With a children’s wildlife trail, local craft stalls and with an adjacent children's play area, there is plenty to see and do even if the weather isn't at its best.

Refreshments available all day in the hall.
