Armathwaite Open Gardens

This event is resting for 2021
Sorry, but Armathwaite Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

approx 8 gardens opened Armathwaite, near Carlisle, Cumbria
Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019
12.00noon to 5.00pm

Come and peer into the open gardens all of which have characters of their own - some old, some new - each one with special charms.

Armathwaite has two pubs, village shop including a post office, and delightful river side walks. Why not travel by train on the Settle to Carlisle Railway and spend the day in the Eden Valley?

This year we are pleased to link up with five local artists who will be exhibiting in The Old School Hall in Armathwaite throughout the weekend. This is a great opportunity to view and buy their works.

Children are welcome and there is a free Garden Trail for them to follow. Tea and cakes will be served in the Village Hall.

All proceeds from the event will be divided equally between Christ and St Mary's Church and the Village Hall.

Plant sales:  Plants for sale at various gardens.

Cost:  4.00 each day.
