Sorry, but Datchworth Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 10 gardens opened Datchworth, near Knebworth, Hertfordshire

12.30pm to 5.00pm

A number of village gardens will be open, including new openers as well as old favourites, some with new additions. Our 800 year old village church will be decorated including contributions from neighbouring churches to mark the 150th anniversary of the British Red Cross.

Walk the village footpaths or take the accessible, courtesy bus between gardens.

Light lunches, BBQ and Afternoon Teas; Pimm's tent; live eclectic musical entertainment throughout the day including a ukulele ensemble. Sorry - no dogs please other than assistance dogs.

Proceeds to British Red Cross, Furniture Friends, Village School 200th Anniversary and Village Church.

Plant sales:  Plant stalls around the village.

Cost:  8.00 per adult, accompanied under 12s free.

Directions:  2 miles south of Stevenage, between Woolmer Green (B197) and Watton-at-Stone (A602). 5 mins off Jn 6 A1(M) - north on B197, right at Woolmer Green. Parking available in designated car parks.
