Welcome to Haughley's Open Gardens and Flower Festival.
Walk around our lovely grass banked village and enjoy many varied large and small gardens while taking in some of the history of the village along the way.
Special features this year include access to the castle site - the castle itself was destroyed in 1173 - and a Flower Festival in the church
There will be various stalls in some gardens and afternoon teas will be served in the church.
Proceeds Proceeds to Haughley Church and a variety of charities nominated by garden openers.
Cost £5.00 per person covers both days, accompanied children free. Tickets bought in advance £4.00. Ticket includes the Flower Festival.
How to get tickets / programmes Tickets can be bought on the day from the church, or in advance from Haughley Post Office. If you buy an advanced ticket, call at the church for a map. Our programme can be viewed on our website.
Number of gardens Approximately 19 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
Directions / Parking From Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich leave the A14 at Junction 49. The church can be found at the Western end of the village in Duke Street.
