This event is resting for 2023 Sorry, but Farthingstone Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
Farthingstone, between Towcester and Daventry, Northamptonshire Sunday 27th June 2021 2.00pm to 6.00pm
The lovely small village of Farthingstone so enjoyed opening its gardens for the very first time in 2019 that we are doing it again.
There will be a wide variety of gardens to see, from mature walled cottage gardens to sweeping lawns with wonderful vistas; from beautiful herbaceous borders to newly designed planting schemes.
Scrumptious homemade teas will be served in our unique Cloisters in the Joy Mead Garden where there will also be produce for sale.
Hopefully the 'roadmap out of lockdown' will be fully complete by the 27th, but we will follow Covid-19 guidelines at the time.
All proceeds from the day will go towards the upkeep of the Joy Mead Garden, the Village Hall and the church.
Plant sales There will be plants for sale in the Joy Mead Garden - all home grown.
Cost £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports Buy tickets on the day from any of the open gardens, including the Joy Mead.
