Wickhambrook, southeast of Newmarket, Suffolk
11.00am to 5.00pm
Wickhambrook residents welcome you to visit a range of interesting gardens varying greatly in size from very small to cottage gardens and larger country house gardens. Many have plantings of herbaceous borders, annuals along with ponds. Some also have wooded areas, fruit trees, raised vegetable plots and greenhouses.
Tea and cakes will be available at some locations. Art works to view at selected gardens. A vineyard is also included where tours can be made and local wine tasted and purchased.
Proceeds to St. Nicholas Hospice.

Cost £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.

Directions / Parking Coming from Bury St Edmunds on the A143, pass through Chedburgh, take the first turning right after the end of the 30 mph speed limit, pass through Depden Green and at the T junction, with the water tower in front of you, turn left, continuing for about 1.5 miles until reaching another T Junction. Turn left and the WI Hall is approximately 100m on the left.
Coming from Newmarket, take the A1063 out of Newmarket and pass through the villages of Cheveley, Ashley and Lidgate. About 1 mile from Lidgate you will come to a 40 mph speed limit and enter Wickhambrook. Take the second turning left (opposite the shop and garage) into Cemetery Road and the WI Hall is about 100m on the right.
