Following on from its successful Open Gardens event in 2021, the historically interesting village of Potterne, near Devizes, has a variety of gardens open to visitors.
The gardens include Porch House, which features a brick layout showing the foundations of the village's original Saxon church, as well as gardens that feature 'rooms' or that have been planned for family life, etc.
There are a few gardens located on steep sites, so come and see how the hosts have used the sloping space to create interesting spaces.
Please note that not all gardens allow access for dogs other than assistance dogs.
Refreshments available along with home-made cakes and gifts.
All proceeds to St. Mary's church funds.
Plant sales Plants grown by villagers will be for sale.
Cost £10.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports Tickets will be available at St. Mary.s Church.
Directions / Parking Follow the signs to the main parking area. Disabled parking at the Village Hall or Old school Site. Parking for outlying gardens will be at or near each property.
Toilet Facilities Toilets are available at this event.
