Saltfleetby Open Gardens
 | This event is resting for 2023 Sorry, but Saltfleetby Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event |
Saltfleetby, east of Louth, Lincolnshire Sorry - 2023 event cancelled 12.00noon to 3.00pm
A variety of beautiful and interesting gardens in the village of Saltfleetby, Lincolnshire will be open to the public.
The impressive Prospect Tower (a garden folly built in about 1812) can be climbed to give spectacular views of the countryside. Among the other highlights you can enjoy drinks at a Tiki Bar and see how an “upside down tree” has been made into a quirky garden feature.
See a miniature fairy village, kids' play area, as well as some gorgeous, lovingly kept grounds filled with a great variety of plants and flowers.
Many garden owners will be serving refreshments, home-made cordials, jam, scones, cakes and tea. The old school has been converted into a social hub and café with a fishing pond, where ice-creams will be for sale, and children can enjoy games.
To locate which gardens are open, see the map on our website and look out for the notice board outside of each participating garden.
All proceeds towards community events and village projects.
