The beautiful historic village of Alton is again holding its open gardens event.
The gardens opening are quite varied. In addition there are the community allotments, St. Peters primary school children's garden and the medieval castle ruins.
Our Norman church St. Peters will be opening the bell tower to allow visitors to view the newly restored bells and the possibility of even having a go at ringing.
There is also a photographic treasure hunt for the younger visitors.
Many gardens are easily accessible for those with limited mobility.
Several of the gardens will be providing refreshments.
Proceeds All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Alton Community Events group to help hold future events for our community.

How to get tickets / programmes Buy a guide map from St. Peters Church from 11.00am onwards outside the church or inside after 12.00noon once services have finished.
Directions / Parking Parking is available at Alton Village Hall and Alton Castle.
