Middleton, near Saxmundham and Leiston, Suffolk Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June 2022 11.00am to 5.00pm
An eclectic and exciting mix of gardens will be open including some new to our event.
There are gardens stretching down to the Minsmere River and others overlooking Middleton Moor and across fields with the Spire of Holy Trinity church seen piercing the sky in the distance. Some have a story to tell about their development over the years. Emphasis on attracting wildlife is paramount in another. Elsewhere one is set in an old walled garden, across the road a new walled garden protects a maturing orchard.
Several gardeners cleverly borrow the beautiful surrounding Suffolk landscape. A herd of alpacas graze quietly in a field. Large garden sculptures by local artist Paul Richardson impress elsewhere.
Refreshments available all day.
