Writtle Open Gardens

Writtle, near Chelmsford, Essex Sunday 19th June 2022 12.00noon to 5.00pm.
Some extremely interesting and different gardens will be open in our picturesque village, plus the chance to visit the Bowling Green in action, allotments, and the church.
The day will commence with Morris Dancing on The Green at 12.00noon followed by prize giving for the winners of the Scarecrow Competition held on The Green for the children.
Our Patron The Lord Petre, Lord Lieutenant of Essex will then formally open the day, accompanied by church bell ringing.
Refreshments will be available around the village together with stalls on The Green, Art Exhibition in the Village Hall and Floral display in the church. Sorry, assistance dogs only please.
All proceeds to Friends of Writtle Parish Church, a charity that raises funds to help maintain the fabric of the church.

Cost £5.00 per person, accompanied under 16s free.

Directions / Parking Extra car parking at Writtle College's Lordship Road car park, plus car park in the village and at the back of the Co-Op shop.
