This event is resting for 2021 Sorry, but Southease Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
Southease Village, East Sussex Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June 2019 1.000pm to 5.00pm
Held annually in order to raise funds for our 1000 year old historic church with its 13th century wall paintings. Gardens will be open, all within a short walking distance of the village green.
Food, cakes and teas available on the village green, and Pimm's stall.
On both days between 2.00pm and 4.00pm, there will be a Question Time with Mark Divall, head gardener at Charleston farmhouse for over 30 years.
All Proceeds to Southease Church Fabric Repair and General Funds.
Plant sales Plants may be for sale at various gardens.
Directions Southease is located on the C7 between Lewes and Newhaven. By rail to Southease Station (half a mile to the village on the South Downs Way). Trains from Brighton, Lewes and Seaford. Village cannot be accessed by car directly from the A26.
