Medieval Salisbury Cathedral is an iconic backdrop to the Cathedral Close, a beautiful space with wonderful old houses and gardens in the city centre.
Gardens opening to the public this year include some old favourites and some new gardens. These beautiful hidden gardens, both large and small, are tucked away from view, giving you the opportunity to explore some hidden treasures.
There will also be a selling exhibition of botanical artwork in Sarum College and a local recorder group, Close Consort, will provide a musical backdrop in many of the gardens.
Tea and cake will be available in the Bishop's garden at South Canonry.
Proceeds to the Friends of Salisbury Cathedral and Sudan Medical Link.
Cost £10.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free, includes entry into the art exhibition.
How to get event passports Entry programmes available on the day from the tent on Choristers' Green, as you enter the Close.
Directions / Parking The Close is in the centre of Salisbury - please use city centre car parks. Limited parking only in the Close for disabled badge holders, £8.00 payable. Head for the tallest spire in England.
