 | Please note This event ran in 2025 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event. |
Barrington, near Ilminster, Somerset Saturday 5th July 2025 1.00pm to 5.00pm
Nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside near Ilminster, the conservation hamstone village of Barrington proudly hosts Barrington Day every other year - a joyful celebration of history, horticulture, and vibrant community spirit.
This year, as part of the Glorious Gardens theme, unique gardens across the village will open their gates to the public. From charming, colourful cottage gardens to expansive grounds featuring specimen trees and sweeping views, each garden offers its own distinctive character and delight.
Adding to the floral festivities, St. Mary’s Church will present its much-loved Flower Festival showcasing stunning arrangements created by local talent.
Join us for a day that celebrates beauty, tradition, and togetherness.
Throughout the village, visitors can enjoy entertainment, refreshments, and a warm welcome from the Barrington community.
