Putley Open Gardens
 | Please note This event ran in 2025 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event. |
Putley, near Ledbury, Herefordshire Saturday 20th September 2025 10.00am to 5.00pm
Visit wonderful gardens in glorious Putley, nestled in the Herefordshire countryside, with far reaching views across to the Cotswold Escarpment.
We're now into our 11th year of opening and delighted that people keep coming back for more.
This year we'll be opening in September to offer our visitors a different aspect. The open gardens are situated on a 2½ mile drive or walk around our parish - use our country lanes or enjoy the local footpaths across fields and through orchards.
Visitors can also explore Putley Church. The carefully tended churchyard warrants a visit, with its oak and teak War Memorial, a very fine medieval Grade ll* Preaching Cross restored with help from Historic England, specimen trees and entrancing views over the adjacent duck pond.
Our village open gardens conveniently coincides with the RHS Autumn Show at the Royal Three Counties Showground in Malvern, 25 minutes away.
The parish hall will be open from 10.00am serving bacon butties, then soup for lunches and tea/coffee and cakes in the afternoon.
