Streatley-on-Thames, opposite side of the river to Goring, Berkshire Friday 10th June 2022 12.30pm to 6.00pm.
The picturesque and historic village of Streatley-on-Thames lies on the Thames between Reading and Oxford. It enjoys wonderful countryside and stunning views of The Goring Gap, being uniquely situated within both The Chilterns and The North Wessex Downs ‘Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
These very different and exceptional gardens will open their family-friendly gates for an afternoon of pure horticultural pleasure as part of the GAP Festival 2022.
Explore a fascinating walled sanctuary with the prettiest of cottage gardens, renowned village allotments and jaw-dropping terrace views. Enjoy a splendid, tiered garden, a riverside surprise, mature herbaceous borders around a feature pond, a modern family garden with raised borders, plus rare chalk downland and wildflower meadows.
Other attractions include poetry in the gardens, plant sales, afternoon teas and more to enjoy as you wend your way between them. Also try our charming pubs and cafes.

All proceeds go to The GAP Festival charity and other charitable causes.
Plant sales Some gardens will be offering plants and produce for sale including many Cornish succulents and allotment specialities, all grown by villagers.
Cost £6.00 cash on the gate, £5.00 online, babes in arms free, donations appreciated for school age children.
How to get event passports Buy tickets online via our website (preferred) or cash can be taken at the Morrell Room or gate. Limited availability of card readers on the route.

Directions / Parking Parking is limited in the village, so check the gardens map and it is easiest to head for nearby Wheel Orchard Carpark, Station Road, Goring-on-Thames.
