Croft-on-Tees Open Gardens
Croft-on-Tees, near Darlington, North Yorkshire Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023 10.00am to 5.00pm Saturday; 12.00noon to 5.00pm Sunday
This is our first year of opening our village gardens, in the childhood home of Lewis Carroll, for 25 years. The village gardens range from the smallest patch, cottage gardens, riverside gardens with beautiful views to large halls.
All of our gardeners look forward to you enjoying your visit. We hope it will be a 'wonderland' experience. Dogs on leads are welcome.
All proceeds will support the work of St. Peter's Church, Croft-on-Tees.
Plant sales There will be plant sale in some individual gardens, with gardeners willing to give advice.
Cost £6.00 adult ticket, accompanied under 12s free.
How to get event passports On the day from Croft-on-Tees Village Hall - cards and cash accepted.
Number of gardens Approximately 18 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.

Directions / Parking Once you have crossed over The River Tees, the bridge that links Hurworth Place and Croft-on-Tees, continue past The Croft Hotel and take the following right turn. 500meters up the hill on your right hand side will be an entrance to a field, this is the location for parking at our event. If you are walking, please meet at Croft Village Hall to purchase tickets for the weekend. The church is at the entrance to the village, follow South Parade for about 200 meters, on your left hand side is The Village Hall.
