 | This event is resting for 2023 Sorry, but Barrington Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event |
Barrington, Cambridgeshire Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June 2021 2.00pm to 5.00pm
Barrington is a lovely village with a number of thatched cottages surrounding the spacious and long village green, reputedly the second-longest in England.
A range of private, well-kept and interesting gardens are open to the public over the weekend, ranging from classic cottage gardens, stunning rose displays, wildflower meadows, and intricate architectural wonders, and even one that has an incredible wild swimming pond.
The gardens are scattered around the village with most open on both days, some for Sunday only. Spend a very pleasant summer's afternoon strolling around Barrington's spacious green as you visit the gardens.
Teas and cakes will be available on both days.
Proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the ancient village church.
Cost £5.00 adults which covers both days, children free.
