Wherwell, on the River Test, is a quintessential Hampshire Village full of thatched cottages, country walks, and a lovely country pub, The White Lion Inn, dating from 1611.
Our gardens range from traditional cottage gardens through to larger modern planting schemes, with some bordering the River Test.
Tea, coffee and delicious cakes will be available in the village hall. You might also wish to consider lunch at The White Lion Inn, offering 2 for 1 Fish and Chips on Sunday with the presentation of Open Gardens Entry Wristbands. Wristbands will go on sale at the Pub from 12.00noon.
All proceeds go towards the care and maintenance of our Village Hall.
Cost
£7.50 adults, includes tea/coffee, accompanied under 16s free. Payment cards accepted.
How to get event passports
Entry by wristband, available on the day from the Village Hall, Church Street (the road by the war memorial in the middle of the village), and also The White Lion Inn.
