Swannington, near Norwich, Norfolk Sunday 26th June 2022 10.00am to 5.00pm
Come and enjoy what could be Norfolk's biggest garden party. Gardens showcasing a huge variety of size and style will be open around this idyllic Norfolk village. Gardens open range from Swannington Manor with its three-hundred-year-old yew hedge, to The Old Rectory and its beautiful rose gardens, to the Woodland Wander reclaimed three years ago after decades of neglect.
Cream teas, homemade cakes and ice cream are available in various gardens. Pimm's Terrace at the Manor plus local beer from Panther Ale on the Common alongside barbecue by Swannington Farm to Fork, Bertie's Woodfired Pizzas, and cold drinks.
A 1959 vintage Bedford coach will be on hand to transport people between gardens thanks to Eastons, while car lovers will also enjoy displays of various classic cars at Swannington Common and Upgate Common.
Grade 1 Listed St. Margaret's Church will also be open, serving homemade teas and light refreshments.
Art and crafts from approximately 15 local artists and makers in the barn at Swannington Manor.
Dogs on leads welcome.
All proceeds go to Swannington Play Area and St. Margaret's Church.
Plant sales Walnut Tree Garden Nursery will be running a plant stall from the Common. The fabulous Romantic Garden Nursery will also be open.
Cost £5.00 per person, accompanied under 16s free. Cash only please.
