Leintwardine Open Gardens is for all those who love gardens and for our Community. It has a long tradition of being a most successful and popular occasion. The atmosphere in 2023 was of a Festival, so please do join us in celebrating summer with a weekend of fantastic events.
Take pleasure in viewing the wide variety of styles and sizes of gardens that are kindly open this weekend. Most gardens are in Leintwardine village itself, with some that lie between one and three miles away. Hopefully every garden will have something that will provide inspiration for your own garden. Drifting through each garden will give you a sense of tranquillity and pleasure as you absorb everything that nature has to offer. This year, the children of Leintwardine Primary School are providing miniature fairy gardens for a display in the village, which will be a delight to see.
Aside from the gardens, there are other opportunities to enjoy, all of which makes it an event for the whole family. In the gardens there are: a chance to play Boules, an open sculpture workshop, a labyrinth, pizzas, Prosecco and Pimm's, ice creams, afternoon teas, strawberries and cream, church Tower tours (in grade 1 listed St Mary Magdalene Church).
The Methodist Church Hall is open on Saturday and the Leintwardine Community Centre open on Sunday; there you will find teas, juice and cakes.
Proceeds
All proceeds go to the Leintwardine Village Hall and Community Centre.
Plant sales
There will be plants for sale - all grown by villagers. It is a big and popular stall with plenty of plants.
Cost
£6.00 adults, under 18s free - cash sales only please throughout the event.
How to get tickets / programmes
Cash ticket sales from the gardens on the day.
Online tickets May to Friday 21st June (preferred method to reduce queueing).
Cash and card sales Saturday 1st June at the 'First Saturday Leintwardine market and coffee morning'.

Directions / Parking
We will be organising an overflow parking field which will be clearly marked on both days, otherwise please park responsibly in streets in the village. For visitors with restricted mobility, two parking bays are available in the Community Centre, and Leintwardine Primary School has kindly agreed use of their front school yard.
