Edensor Open Gardens
Edensor Village, Chatsworth Estate, Bakewell, Derbyshire Saturday 17th June 2023 11.00am to 4.00pm
Many gardens open in the village on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire. Entertainment.
The event will be opened at 12.00noon by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.
Stalls include cakes and preserves, toys, bric a brac. Competition treasure hunt for children, vintage and classic cars. Entertainment includes Powder Keg Morris Dancers, Holymoorside Brass Band, Cook & Sons Traditional Organ Grinders. Also Punch and Judy, wood bodgers and turners demonstration and Patrick's traditional barrel organ.
Cream teas in church, beer tent: local ales, Pimm's bar, prosecco. Outside Catering by Derbyshire Eats. Dogs on leads welcome.
Proceeds to Helen's Trust (in memory of Ann Newman), Sheffield's Childrens Hospital (in memory of Pauline Mather), and St. Peter's Churchyard Maintenance Fund.
Plant sales Plant stall with plants from many of the open gardens and other local green fingered friends.
Cost £5.00 adults, accompanied children free.
