Bradwell Open Gardens

Please note
This event ran in 2023 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.

approx 20 gardens opened Bradwell, Hope Valley, Derbyshire
Saturday 12th August 2023
10.00am to 5.00pm

Bradwell gardeners are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our gardens in the Peak District village of Bradwell in the Hope Valley.

Two routes round the village start from St. Barnabas Church - choose one, or come for the day and do them both. There are three pubs and other places where you can get refreshments, as well as a café on Town Bottom selling refreshments and Hope Valley Ice Cream.

There is a scarecrow or similar figure competition held during Gala Week, and these will be on display throughout the village.

This event is now organised by St. Barnabas PCC as part of Bradwell Well Dressing week. As well as the gardens there will be four wells to visit and exhibitions in the Church and Chapel where teas are available.

Please note that some of the gardens are not suitable for those who find steep gardens or roads challenging on foot. Those that are situated on flat ground will be indicated in the brochure.

All funds raised will go to Church Funds.
