Bures, near Colchester, Essex/Suffolk border Saturday 23rd May 2026 12.00noon to 5.00pm
A variety of gardens throughout the village will be open to visitors. Sawyer's Farm on the outskirts of Bures will be opening again this year.
There will be an Arts and Crafts Fair 'All Things Art and Beautiful' in Bures Community Centre.
Lunches, supplied by Bank House Tearoom, will be available on Bures Common.
Some garden owners will provide refreshments and cakes, and homemade cream teas will be served in St. Mary's Church. There will be a cake stall and music played by Bures and Sudbury Mandolin Ensemble.
Proceeds All proceeds to St. Mary's Church and Bures Cricket Club Pavilion Rebuild.
Plant sales Plant sales in some gardens.
Cost £6.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get tickets / programmes On the day from St. Mary's Church as well as on Bures Common, in Nayland Road near the Community Centre car park and at all participating gardens; in advance from Rose's General Store and Bank House Tearoom.
