 North Dalton, East Yorkshire

North Dalton is a pretty East Yorkshire Village with a duck pond, a picturesque pub and a beautiful Norman church.
We are opening this year for the third time and there will be a selection of gardens open scattered around the village. These will range from small courtyard gardens, vegetable gardens, perennial flower gardens through to a beautiful, (and usually completely private) walled garden owned by one of the historic homes in the village.
The church will also be open - don't miss the rare and beautiful William Morris window - and the Beverley Community Choir will be performing there. Other musical events will take place around the village, and acclaimed cellist Christina Waldock has kindly agreed to do a recital (or two) in selected gardens on the day. Come and be amazed by the beauty of her music in the tranquil environs of North Dalton.
There will be a children's treasure hunt trail, and there is a children's playground next to the village hall, so please bring your family.
Some garden owners will provide refreshments as you explore the gardens. For example, in the sublimely beautiful courtyard of The Old Chapel, Rose and Robin will be selling Pimm's, strawberries and some of their artwork and ceramics.
Delicious homemade cakes and beverages will be available to buy at the village hall throughout the afternoon.
Proceeds
All proceeds will go to the support and maintenance of our village hall, a vital hub of the community.
Cost
£7.00 adults, accompanied under 12s free. Ticket includes a cup of tea and homemade cake or scone at the village hall.

North Dalton is a village situated in East Yorkshire between Driffield and Pocklington, and north of Beverley. The postcode will take you to the middle of the village. There will be clear signposting from there to easy and accessible parking.
