Abbotts Ann, near Andover, Hampshire Sunday 12th June 2022 12.00noon to 5.00pm
Abbotts Ann is a delightful village at the northern end of the Test Valley. Together with several pretty thatched cottages, there is a volunteer-run village shop, a pub and a church which interestingly has the largest number of 'virgin crowns' in the country.
The gardens are dotted around the village and include a wide variety of styles from cottage gardens to more formal ones. Flower Festival in our church and some art and craft exhibits
Cream teas are available as well as an open studio and a chance to play croquet.
All proceeds to a variety of village facilities / charities including the church, the Village Hall, the Community Village Shop, the sports hall and community voluntary organisations. Also, at least half of this year's profits being sent to Ukraine.
Plant sales It is hoped to have a plant sale depending on the Village plant sale two weeks before.
Cost £5.00 for adults, children 12-18 £2.00, under 12s free.
How to get event passports On the day, most of the gardens will sell tickets; in advance, please buy from the Village Shop.
Directions Abbotts Ann is at the northern end of the Test Valley, five miles north of Stockbridge and three miles south of Andover. Entrance to village off the A343 Andover to Salisbury Road.
