Harleston Open Gardens
Harleston, betwixt Diss and Bungay, Norfolk Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June 2025 11.00am to 4.00pm
Harleston is a small Market Town, nestled in the Waveney Valley in Norfolk, and is proud to invite you to come and visit our unique gardens,– each one a wondering adventure.
We have a beautiful walled garden, old fashioned gardens, and some dedicated to helping wildlife. Included on the Saturday are Harleston Allotments.
St. John's church will be open to visitors on the Saturday, and you can walk around the quiet gardens, also look at the beautiful Butterfly display hanging inside, made by the Primary schoolchildren to support our Harleston and Waveney Nature Recovery scheme.
To take you to the further town gardens and allotments we have a 1950 Bristol L5G Vintage bus. A Timetable will be in the bus shelter in Broad Street.
Additionally this year, we have a large garden in Needham, just over a mile west of Harleston, but too special not to be included. It has a two acre wildflower meadow, with paths cut in, and a large pond, with lots of wildlife.
Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
Proceeds Proceeds to Harleston's Future and Harleston Garden Club. Some of the gardens will be having stalls for other charities.
Cost £4.00 per adult or £6.00 for two adults and up to three children.
How to get tickets / programmes In advance and on Saturday from Robinsons Stationers and The Green Cupboard shop, both situated in The Thoroughfare; on Sunday from a stall on the Market Place or The Swan Hotel.
