Sydling St. Nicholas is a beautiful Dorset village, just eight miles north of Dorchester, full of stone cottages and gardens, with a stream running through.
We have a good range of gardens open for you to enjoy as well as our parish church. Afternoon tea and cakes will be on sale at the Village Hall throughout the afternoon. A lovely day out.
Proceeds go towards helping to pay for the costs of running our village hall.
Plant sales We always offer an excellent selection of locally grown plants and shrubs.
Cost £5.00 per person.
How to get event passports Entry tickets can be purchased at the village hall.
Number of gardens Approximately 13 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
Directions Proceed out of Dorchester on the A37 towards Yeovil. After 5 miles on this road you reach the village of Grimstone. Turn off right to Sydling St Nicholas under the railway viaduct.
Toilet Facilities Toilets are available - locations will be advised on the day.
