Armathwaite, near Carlisle, Cumbria Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June 2023 12.00noon to 5.00pm
Come and peer into the open gardens all of which have characters of their own - some old, some new - each one with special charms.
Armathwaite has two pubs, village shop including a post office, and delightful river side walks. Why not travel by train on the Settle to Carlisle Railway and spend the day in the Eden Valley?
Children are welcome and there is a free Garden Trail for them to follow. Tea and cakes will be served in the Village Hall.
All proceeds from the event will be divided equally between Christ and St Mary's Church and the Village Hall.

Directions / Parking Armathwaite is equidistant from Carlisle and Penrith. From J42 on the M6 take the A6 south for approx 7 miles and turn left off the dual carriageway just past the vilage of High Hesket. Proceed along this road to a T junction where you should turn right. Upon entering Armathwaite continue for 1/4 mile and programmes can be purchased from a tent in the middle of the village.
